Do you think the Vice President is a member of the legislative or executive branch and why?

He is a member of the Executive Branch. His duty as "President of the Senate" does not make him a legislator no matter how many times Cheney tried to tell us otherwise. The only power is to cast a tie-breaking vote in the Senate and to preside over the Electoral College. He is given duties by the President and cannot give direction to Senators or be directed by Senators. Thus, the idea that he is a legislator is bogus.
