Do the belief systems of some "9/11 truthers" & "Moon-landing-was-a-hoax believers" take on religious dynamics?

I've found alot of overlap between belief in conspiracy and belief in God, i guess if you honestly believe that man isd fundamentally evil it's easy enough to believe the rich and powerful of this world are working against you.
