Im so confused! boy problems i need help fast *15points*?

ok so im in high school and i never had bf before or dated a boy so i have no experience with boys.i met this guy were both in our junior year of school we have never came in contact till now though.well it started of with simple flirting then onto more things like walking me to my locker and sitting with me but i kept my guard up because ive heard about how he was such a jerk to his old girlfriends(cheating or tired of them)then i compared myself to the girls he messed with they were drama queens im the total opposite so i gave him the benefit and kinda opened up a little more then things got to the point where all the sign he liked me were ther he stressed how much he misses me when were apart and he even gets jealous when other guys hit on me he gives me hugs in front of the whole school he dosen't even care who sees. one day he took my phone and put his number in it then i asked did he wanna hang out he agreed.that fri night i thought he wasn't gonna meet me and he rushed to meet me so he bought me dinner and then we went to the park and while we were standing we began to hug then things got romantic and he went to kiss my lips but i moved he kissed my cheek then i asked if he had a gf he says" YES" WTF ! and honestly i couldnt get mad then we had a talk about us and then we hugged again then he kissed my forhead and my cheek and waited with me 45 minutes till my bus came now and it was so sweet he even called to see if i got home ok then on monday morning i saw him with his girlfriend and he said hi to me and smiled and now im like going crazy thinking about him but i dont kow if i should go on or stop now and wait for him to be a available we agreed to be friends but with the chemistry we have its kinda hard and i get the feeling he wants more.
