Pokemon diamond battle question???

ok i want to battle my friend code is Jared 5240 9544 4267.i will battle wih pokemon 50-60 so if u would use the same lvl it would be appricated.but i got to the basement of the pokemon center talked to the girl and i got connected to nintendo wi-fi and pushed invite.but what do i do after that???
